Proceeds from the "Fiji Run for Leukemia" are donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity brother Rod Morgan, who died of leukemia in 1974.

The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta at Kansas State University solicit donations and sponsorships in competition with the University of Kansas. Rivalries are put aside as the two fraternities run the honorary game day football for the K-State vs. KU football game from the opposing college to the host college. A check presentation is held the day of the game with Rod Morgan's family in attendance.

This year, the K-State vs. KU football game will take place Saturday, October 22nd. The Fiji's will run the honorary game football from Manhattan to Lawrence. Over the years, the Run has raised more than $600,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society®.
